The 2010 Paraplanner of the Year is Simon Poole of Direction Financial Planning

This year saw another very close contest which was eventually won by Simon who you can see receiving the trophy and his prize of £1,500 from Martyn Harrison of AXA Wealth, who were lead sponsors again, and Barry Horner the President of the Institute of Financial Planning.

Simon’s prize included a pass and accommodation at the IFP Conference which he thoroughly enjoyed.

In second place, and by the narrowest of margins, was Jeannie Boyle of Truestone.  As well as coming second in the main award, Jeannie also scored the highest mark on the technical assessment.
